    Introduction About SORBILINE SYRUP

    Sorbiline Syrup is a combination of Sorbitol and Tricholine which belongs to the group of medicines called Laxatives and Bile acid binding agents respectively. It is used in the management of constipation and helps in improving appetite. It is also used as an adjuvant in the management of fatty liver disease (accumulation of fat in the liver) and hepatotoxicity.

    Before starting the management with Sorbiline Syrup, your doctor might ask you take several diagnostic tests. Before taking Sorbiline Syrup inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, lung, or heart diseases. Therefore, consult your doctor for advice.

    Sorbiline Syrup is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women. It should not be given to children unless prescribed by a doctor. The most common side effects of taking Sorbiline Syrup are nausea, gas, diarrhoea, stomach cramps, and anal irritation. Tricholine is a bile acid binding agent which breaks down fat and converts the deposited fat into good cholesterol, hence helps in the management of fatty liver and makes liver function better.
