    Introduction About SOMPRAZ IT CAPSULE

SOMPRAZ IT CAPSULE is a combination of Esomeprazole and Itopride which belongs to the group of medicines called Proton pump inhibitors and Gastroprokinetic agents respectively. It is used to manage Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in patients who does not respond to esomeprazole alone. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) occurs when stomach contents flow backwards and cause troublesome symptoms or complications like heartburn, excessive salivation, burping, and regurgitation. Though it is primarily a motility problem, acidity of gastric contents is the most important aggressive factor in causing symptoms and lesions in food-pipe.

Before taking SOMPRAZ IT CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you have severe kidney, liver or skin problems, osteoporosis, or about to take any blood tests. SOMPRAZ IT CAPSULE should be used with caution in pregnant women and it is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. SOMPRAZ IT CAPSULE should be used with caution in children and adolescents (under 12 years of age) and elderly patients.

The most common side effects of taking SOMPRAZ IT CAPSULE are dizziness, headache, diarrhoea, stomach pain, constipation, flatulence, nausea, vomiting, rash, redness, or itching. Consult your doctor if any of the above side effects worsen.

    How SOMPRAZ IT CAPSULE Works

This kind of action provides relief from the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
