Introduction About SOLUDINE 10% SOLUTION
Soludine Solution is a microbicidal solution used as an adjunctive management of infection in skin loss lesion-cuts, ulcers and wounds including post-operative wounds. It contains povidone iodine as an active ingredient to decrease the risk of infection by killing the micro-organisms at the site of application.
Povidone-iodine inhibits the synthesis of various cellular mechanisms of bacteria that lead to their death. Also, it exhibits anti-inflammatory reactions that counteracts inflammation associated with pathogens and host response.
Always use Soludine Solution as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Clean the affected area and apply a small amount of solution to the affected area. The area may be left uncovered or you may cover with a sterile bandage.
