    Introduction About SILVEREX SSD CREAM

    SILVEREX SSD CREAM is a combination of Chlorhexidine and Silver sulphadiazine which belongs to the group of medicines called Topical antimicrobial agents. It is used to manages burn infection. It is also used to manage, manage and control bacterial infections associated with urinary tract infections, ear infections, skin cleaning and before a surgical procedure.

    Your doctor may advise you to undergo relevant medical tests to understand your existing condition. SILVEREX SSD CREAM is not recommended for use if you are planning a surgical procedure. It is also not advised for use in the mouth, vagina and inner ear. Consult your doctor for advice. Apply a thin film of this medicine twice daily to the affected area.

    SILVEREX SSD CREAM should be used with caution in pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. The most possible side effects of using SILVEREX SSD CREAM may include itching (pruritus), burning sensation, rash. Consult your doctor if any of the above side effects get worse.

    How SILVEREX SSD CREAM Works

    SILVEREX SSD CREAM prevents, controls and fights against bacterial infection of the damaged skin. Chlorhexidine belongs to antiseptic and disinfectant which works by binding strongly with skin. It works against infectious microorganisms and effectively cleans out cuts, wounds and burns to manage them from getting infected. Silver Sulphadiazine is an antibiotic which stops bacteria from producing folic acid, a vitamin required for bacterial multiplication.

    How to use SILVEREX SSD CREAM

    Apply SILVEREX SSD CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Apply a thin layer of this medicine to the affected area. Avoid contact with this medicine in your eyes.
