Introduction About SHELCAL M TABLET
Shelcal-M Tablet is a nutritional supplement used for dietary calcium supplementation for growth, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and to manage osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones).
It contains calcium, vitamin D3 and other micronutrients that that help in increasing the bone mass and bone strength.
Calcium is necessary for many normal functions of the body particularly, bone formation and maintenance. Vitamin D3 helps in the absorption of calcium from the digestive tract and maintains the calcium balance in the body.
Magnesium is involved in bone and mineral homeostasis and is important in bone crystals growth and stabilization. Manganese assists bone formation and pyruvate conversion. Zinc is essential for synthesis of nucleic acid, protein metabolism and cell membrane.
Copper improves production of collagen which is an important part of connective tissues. Boron plays a role in skeletal growth and may have important role in brain activities.
