    Introduction About SAMLOL SACHET

SAMLOL SACHET contains L-ornithine-L-aspartate, which belongs to the group of medicines called Hepatoprotective agents. It is used in the management of concomitant diseases and complications caused by deterioration of liver detoxification function, with symptoms of latent or severe hepatic encephalopathy and consciousness disorders such as precoma or coma.

L-ornithine-l-aspartate is made up of two amino acids called ornithine and aspartic acid. Both l-ornithine and l-aspartic acid ensure hepatoprotective effects by decreasing the toxic load on the liver and by providing metabolic support for hepatic cells. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have severe liver disease, because your doctor might adjust the dose on an individual basis to avoid nausea and vomiting.

This medicine is well tolerated with minimal side effects. However, if you experience any unusual symptoms after taking this medicine, inform your doctor. Do not take this medicine if you have severe renal impairment, diabetes, or fructose intolerance. Ask your doctor for advice. If a high dose of this medicine is used, it is important to monitor the levels of urea both in the serum and urine to avoid toxicity. Ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

    How SAMLOL SACHET Works

L-ornithine converts toxic ammonia into non-toxic urea, which is eliminated via the kidneys. By doing this, it lowers the elevated level of toxic load (ammonia) in blood and helps the diseased liver to carry out its normal function smoothly (detoxification). L-aspartate is an important component of the citric acid cycle, which liberates energy in the form of ATP, which helps in the regeneration of damaged liver cells.

    How to use SAMLOL SACHET

Always take this medicine as directed by your physician. Dissolve the contents of 1-2 sachets in a large amount of fluid (Ex. in a glass of water or juice) and consume orally, 3 times a day during or after meals.
