    Introduction About RAYBARIN LOTION

    RAYBARIN LOTION is a combination of Avobenzone, Octinoxate, Octocrylene, Oxybenzone, and Zinc Oxide which belongs to the group of medicines called Sunscreen agents and Soothing agents respectively. It is used to lighten the freckles (small light brown coloured patches on the skin), hyperpigmentation (darker skin patches), age spots, melasma (brown patches on the face) and post procedures. It also used to reduce the recurrence of black spots due to exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet light.

    RAYBARIN LOTION should be used with caution on children under 6 months of age, consult your doctor before using it. RAYBARIN LOTION is not recommended for use in patients having a history of asthma, eczema (skin inflammation), psoriasis (itching) and other similar skin disorders.

    The safety and efficacy of RAYBARIN LOTION in pregnant and breastfeeding women has not been established, consult your doctor before using it. The most common side effects of using RAYBARIN LOTION are abrasion (broken skin), blue-black darkening of the skin, allergic skin rashes, dizziness and trouble breathing. Contact your doctor if any of the above side effects gets worse or persists for a longer duration.

    Uses Of RAYBARIN LOTION

    It is used to:

    • lighten the freckles, hyperpigmentation, age spots, melasma and after procedures
    • reduce the recurrence of black spots due to exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet light

    How RAYBARIN LOTION Works

    RAYBARIN LOTION protects the skin where Avobenzone, Octinoxate, Octocrylene and Oxybenzone absorb UV rays and manage the damage to cells and DNA, increase the skin's tolerability to UV rays, and thus reduces the impact of UV rays on the skin. Zinc oxide lays out a physical barrier to manage skin irritation and helps to heal damaged skin.

    How to use RAYBARIN LOTION

    Apply RAYBARIN LOTION as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of RAYBARIN LOTION for you based upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Avoid contact with or around your eyes.

    Side Effects Of RAYBARIN LOTION

    Common

    • abrasion (broken skin)
    • blue-black darkening of the skin
    • allergic skin rashes
    • dizziness
    • trouble breathing

    Rare

    Stop using RAYBARIN LOTION and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:

    • signs of rash or irritation

    How To Manage Side Effects

    Dizziness Or Drowsiness

    Lie down until dizziness is resolved, then get up slowly. Do not hurry and move slowly and carefully. Get adequate rest. Drink plenty of water and other fluids. Avoid coffee, cigarettes, alcohol. If dizziness does not get better, consult your doctor.

    Skin rash Or Itching

    Avoid hot showers because hot water can irritate your skin more. Do not scratch the affected area. Use protective clothing when going outdoors. Regularly moisturize your skin. Consult your doctor if your skin rash gets worse.
