Introduction About OROFER XT TOTAL TABLET
Orofer XT Total Tablet is a nutritional supplement used to manage or manage low blood levels of iron (Ex. in anemia, pregnancy and breastfeeding, post-surgery, haemodialysis). It contains iron, folic acid, methylcobalamin and zinc as active ingredients that help overcome nutritional deficiencies.
Ferrous ascorbate is combination of ascorbic acid and iron in which ascorbic acid enhances the absorption of iron and helps in formation of haemoglobin (oxygen carrying pigment) in red blood cells. Zinc is important for protein synthesis, cellular division, nucleic acid metabolism, and acts as cofactor in number of processes in body.
Folic acid is very important for formation of healthy red blood cells, and it also manages neural tube defects in unborn children during pregnancy. Methylcobalamin also has role in the formation of healthy red blood cells, and it also improves the nerve cell health.
Take Orofer XT Total Tablet as advised by your physician. Do not exceed the daily recommended dose. It is not recommended for use if you have certain iron metabolism problems or high levels of iron in blood.
