    Introduction About OLMEZEST 40MG TABLET

Olmezest 40mg Tablet helps support healthy blood pressure levels by relaxing blood vessels. It combines effective components that work together to assist in maintaining cardiovascular wellness.

It contains Olmesartan which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihypertensives.  Your doctor may advice you to take regular exercise such as walking or swimming, low salt diet, giving up smoking and alcohol drinking, which helps to reduce blood pressure effectively during management with this medicine.

OLMEZEST 40MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with kidney, liver or heart problems. Your doctor may check your kidney function test, blood pressure and the amount of electrolytes (Ex. potassium) in the body prior to the management with OLMEZEST 40MG TABLET or at regular intervals along with the management.

It is not recommended in early pregnancy and must not be taken when more than 3 months pregnant and in breastfeeding women. This medicine should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years and above). The most common side effects are dizziness, nausea, headache, diarrhoea and stomach pain.

    Uses Of OLMEZEST 40MG TABLET

    • Used to manage high blood pressure

    Benefits of OLMEZEST 40MG TABLET

    • Effectively supports the lowering of high blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels, which helps ease blood flow and reduce strain on the heart.
    • Helps in reducing the risk of serious cardiovascular events such as heart attacks and strokes by managing blood pressure levels.
    • Assists in preventing kidney damage associated with elevated blood pressure conditions.
    • May help reduce fluid retention and swelling by promoting the elimination of excess salt and water from the body.
    • Supports overall cardiovascular health by aiding in maintaining optimal blood pressure.
    • Suitable for use in patients who may benefit from combination medications for enhanced hypertension control.

    How OLMEZEST 40MG TABLET Works

Olmezest 40mg contains Olmesartan Medoxomil, which helps relax blood vessels by blocking a natural substance called angiotensin II. Angiotensin II usually tightens blood vessels and raises blood pressure. By blocking its action, Olmezest allows blood vessels to stay open and relaxed. This helps blood flow more easily and supports healthy blood pressure levels. It also helps the body get rid of extra salt and water, reducing strain on the heart.

This way, Olmezest supports overall heart and blood vessel health in a gentle and effective manner.
