    Introduction About NOCULI SOLUTION

NOCULI SOLUTION is a combination of Potassium citrate and Magnesium citrate which belongs to the group of medicines called Urinary alkalizers and Saline laxatives respectively. It is used in the management of renal tubular acidosis with calcium stones and kidney stones (hypocitraturic calcium oxalate nephrolithiasis and uric acid lithiasis with or without calcium stones).

Renal tubular acidosis is a condition in which the kidneys do not remove acids from the blood into the urine as they usually should. Before taking NOCULI SOLUTION, your doctor might want you to take certain blood tests and ECG to understand your existing condition.

NOCULI SOLUTION is not recommended for use in patients with hyperkalemia (high potassium levels in the blood), gastrointestinal disease, peptic ulcer disease, urinary tract infection and kidney disease.

NOCULI SOLUTION is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women unless it is clearly advised by the doctor. Safety and effectiveness of NOCULI SOLUTION in children has not been established yet. The most common side effects of taking NOCULI SOLUTION are abdominal discomfort, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

    Uses Of NOCULI SOLUTION

    Manages,

    How NOCULI SOLUTION Works

NOCULI SOLUTION works by reducing the kidney stone formation. Potassium citrate and magnesium citrate, causes the metabolism of absorbed citrate producing an alkaline load. In addition to raising urinary pH and citrate, this also increases urinary potassium and magnesium. In certain patients, potassium citrate causes a transient reduction in urinary calcium. These changes produce urine that is less helpful to the crystallization of stone-forming salts.
