Introduction About NITRAHEX MOUTH WASH LIQUID
Nitrahex Mouth Wash Liquid is a medicated mouthwash that is used to manage inflamed gum conditions that cause gingivitis. It also aids in the management of the formation of dental plaque. It maintains oral hygiene of the mouth. It has Chlorhexidine Gluconate as the chief ingredient that exhibits anti-microbial activity.
Chlorhexidine Gluconate inhibits plaque formation by killing the bacteria (bactericidal action), and, also by inhibiting the growth of further bacteria (bacteriostatic action) by attaching to the surface of enamel (a tooth layer).
Nitrahex Mouth Wash Liquid is to be used as advised by the dentist. It is only for dental use. Do not swallow it. It is to be used by pregnant women only if clearly necessary and is to be avoided by nursing mothers. The mouthwash is not to be used by children less than the age of 18. Its usage may cause certain side effects such as an increased build-up of the calculus on the top of the gums. Its usage can also result in an allergic reaction called Anaphylaxis. It can also stain oral surfaces, tooth surfaces, restorations and the top of the tongue along with alteration of taste sensation. Consult the doctor if you notice a worsening of any side effects.
