    Introduction About METROGYL P 2% OINTMENT

    METROGYL P 2% OINTMENT is a combination of Metronidazole and Povidone Iodine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antiprotozoals and Topical Antiseptic agents respectively. It is used to manage infections such as cuts, abrasions, post-surgical procedures dressing, burns, infected wounds and diabetic foot ulcers.

    Apply METROGYL P 2% OINTMENT gently on the surface of the wound after cleaning as directed by your physician. Before using METROGYL P 2% OINTMENT inform your doctor if you have any allergic or hypersensitivity reactions. There are limited information available on the use of METROGYL P 2% OINTMENT in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Metronidazole belongs to antiprotozoal drug that acts on specialized group of bacteria and act synergistically to cover wide spectrum of pathogens.
