Introduction About MACFER XT TABLET
MACFER XT Tablet is an iron supplement used to correct iron deficiency anemia and anemia caused due to excessive blood loss. It can also be used to correct anemia caused due to hook worm infestations. It contains Iron, Folic acid and Zinc as the key ingredients.
Iron is an essential micronutrient that gives the red blood cells the reddish brown colour and the capacity to transport oxygen. It improves oxygen levels in the body and corrects tiredness, weakness and shortness of breath caused due to anemia.
Folic acid improves the production of red blood count within the body which helps in reducing tiredness and other signs caused due to anemia. It can also maintain a healthy nervous system and manage damage to brain cells and nerves.
Studies have shown that zinc improves immunity and helps in better absorption of iron, especially in people with gut disorders or kidney disorders. It also reduces the gut problems like constipation caused by iron.
Always take MACFER XT Tablet as advised by your doctor. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Do not exceed the daily recommended dosages.
Before taking MACFER XT Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any pre-existing disease condition. MACFER XT Tablet can be used in pregnant and or breastfeeding women. However, consult your doctor for advice before taking it.
