Introduction About LYNX INJECTION
LYNX INJECTION contains Lincomycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Lincosamides. LYNX INJECTION is used alone/combined with other antibiotics to manage serious infections caused by susceptible strains of streptococci, pneumococci, and staphylococci bacteria in affected individuals when other antibiotics become ineffective to manage the disease due to penicillin allergy/ bacterial resistance.
LYNX INJECTION is not recommended for use in patients allergic to lincomycin, and/or clindamycin. It is also not recommended for use in patients with minor bacterial/viral infections.
Before administering LYNX INJECTION, inform your doctor if you have stomach problems (such as gastrointestinal disease), monilial infection (yeast infection), lung problems (such as asthma), kidney problems (severe renal dysfunction), and/or liver problems (such as impaired hepatic function).
LYNX INJECTION should be used with caution during pregnancy only if it is clearly necessary. The medicine is generally not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless it is clearly necessary since the medicine may pass through breast milk.
