Introduction About KETOGRACE DS TABLET
KETOGRACE DS Tablet is a kidney protectant used to manage kidney damage in patients with chronic kidney disease along with a protein restricted diet. It contains alpha ketoanalogue as the active ingredient.
Alpha ketoanalogue is a combination of calcium salts of 5 keto amino acids and 5 essential amino acids. When combined with a protein-restricted diet, it works by reducing the production of certain toxin chemicals (uremic toxins) within the body that causes damage to the kidneys. The essential amino acids present in the medicine manages the deleterious consequences of protein deficiency and malnourishment.
Take KETOGRACE DS Tablet as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosages.
Before taking KETOGRACE DS Tablet, inform your doctor if you have hypercalcemia (high blood calcium levels), disturbed amino acid metabolism or hereditary phenylketonuria as a precaution. Avoid concomitant usage of antacids containing aluminium hydroxide along with KETOGRACE DS Tablet without consulting your doctor.
Consult your doctor before taking KETOGRACE DS Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
