Introduction About KETOFORD PLUS CREAM
KETOFORD PLUS CREAM is a combination of Beclomethasone and Ketoconazole, which belong to the groups of medicines called Anti-inflammatory and Antifungal respectively. It is used to manage different kinds of fungal infections like Tinea corporis (Ringworm), Tinea pedis (Athlete's foot), Tinea cruris (Jock itch), and Tinea capitis (Ringworm of the scalp).
These fungal infections can spread easily from one person to another and cause redness and itching in the affected area. They are usually seen in moist and sweaty areas of the body as tinea pedis is usually seen in between the toes due to fitting shoes whereas tinea cruris and groin are seen in the inner thigh region.
Avoid applying KETOFORD PLUS CREAM on the skin surface that is cut, scraped, sunburned, or eczema affected. KETOFORD PLUS CREAM is not recommended for use in patients suffering from skin-related viral infections, tuberculosis, acne rosacea, and perioral dermatitis.

Ketoconazole is an imidazole that blocks the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of the fungal cell membrane, thus weakening the structure and function of the fungal cell membrane.
