Introduction About KARPIN LOTION
Karpin Lotion is used to manage pityriasis versicolor (fungal infection such as discoloured patches (vitiligo)). It contains Sodium thiosulphate, Sodium hydroxide, Sodium benzoate, Cetrimide, Tartaric acid and Phenol as active ingredients which kills the disease-causing fungi.
Sodium Thiosulphate is an antifungal, which fights infections caused by fungus. Sodium Hydroxide is used externally to remove diseased or dead tissues. Sodium Benzoate aids in balancing the pH. Cetrimide, Tartaric Acid and Phenol are antiseptics and disinfectants, which kills the microorganisms.
Always apply Karpin Lotion as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Do not swallow the lotion. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
