Introduction About K STAT 125 INJECTION

K STAT 125 INJECTION contains Ethamsylate, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihemorrhagic drugs. It is used to manage bleeding from the blood vessels and to manage bleeding before or after an operation.

Ethamsylate exerts hemostatic action by improving platelet adhesiveness and restoring capillary (blood vessels) resistance. It decreases bleeding time and increases platelet clumping which reduces capillary bleeding and improves capillary wall stability. Before the management, your doctor might want to do certain blood tests to understand your existing condition.
