    Introduction About HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (VL) SOLUTION

    HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (VL) Solution is used as a mild disinfectant for minor cuts, wounds and skin ulcers or as a mouthwash and gargle. It contains Hydrogen peroxide as a main ingredients which is used for skin infection.

    HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (VL) Solution contains Hydrogen peroxide is a disinfectant and deodorant which inhibits bacteria by releasing oxygen when in contact with body tissues. HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (VL) Solution should not be used in pregnancy or breastfeeding women unless instructed by the doctor.

    HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (VL) Solution is used for external use only. Do not use if you or your child is allergic to any of its ingredients. It is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 12 years of age unless instructed by your doctor. Do not use HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (VL) Solution on normal skin and eyes, closed body cavities or surgical wounds, as an enema, to disinfect surgical instruments.

    Side Effects Of HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (VL) SOLUTION

    After using HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (VL) Solution, if you experience any irritating burns on the skin and other soft tissues of the body producing a white patch of dead tissue. The pain from this will disappear after about an hour. Also, continual use as a mouthwash may cause temporary swelling of the tongue. If you notice these or any other side effects, stop using, and tell your doctor immediately.

    Safety Advice

    • Always use HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (VL) Solution as directed by the doctor
    • For skin disinfection: Dilute a portion of the HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (VL) Solution with an equal amount of water, soak some cotton wool in this solution and use it to dress the wound as required
    • As a mouthwash or gargle: Dilute a portion of the HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (VL) Solution with five times the amount of water (Ex. 5ml of peroxide and 25ml of water) and use this solution to rinse the mouth for 2 to 3 minutes.
    • It is for external use only
    • Do not use HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (VL) Solution if you are allergic to Hydrogen peroxide
