Introduction About HEPTIVITE TABLET
Heptivite Tablet is a nutritional supplement used in alcoholic steatohepatitis, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, mild hepatic encephalopathy, and liver cirrhosis as an adjuvant nutritional therapy. It contains hepato-protectives, anti-oxidants, minerals and micro-nutrients as active ingredients that help to improve liver prognosis.
Silymarin is a hepatoprotective and antioxidant agent that acts effectively by lowering oxidative liver damage by inhibiting the formation of free radicals. It increases the cellular regeneration of hepatocytes (liver cells) by stimulating the activity of an enzyme called RNA polymerase. It also improves the overall functional capacity of the liver.
Vitamins, minerals, and amino acids support essential liver functions including the detoxification of drugs and chemicals, and the processing and metabolism of dietary proteins, fats, and sugars. Amino acids are involved in various cellular metabolisms, synthesis of nucleotides and lipids as well as detoxification reactions.
