Introduction About HALOVATE F CREAM
HALOVATE F CREAM is a combination of Fusidic acid and Halobetasol which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics and Topical Corticosteroids respectively. It is used to manage bacterial skin infections, eczema, seborrhoeic & contact dermatitis, psoriasis and infected dermatoses.
Atopic dermatitis (eczema) is a condition that causes dry, itchy and inflamed skin. Psoriasis is a skin disease that causes a rash with itchy, scaly patches, most commonly on the knees, elbows, trunk and scalp. Infectious dermatoses that can manifest as vesicles include bacteria, viruses, fungi, syphilis and other infections.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, consult your doctor before using this medicine. The most common side effect of this medicine is application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching, and redness). Consult your doctor if the above side effects worsen or persists for a longer duration.

How HALOVATE F CREAM Works
HALOVATE F CREAM is a combination of Halobetasol and Fusidic acid. Halobetasol is a steroid that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Fusidic Acid is an antibiotic that works against bacteria by managing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
How to use HALOVATE F CREAM
Apply HALOVATE F CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Apply a thin layer of this medicine on the affected area. Do not use this medicine on your face for more than 5 days. Avoid applying this medicine around your eyes, including eyelids.
