Introduction About GYNOGEN HP 75IU INJECTION
GYNOGEN HP 75IU INJECTION contains Menotrophin which belongs to the group of medicines called Gonadotropins. It is used to manage infertility in both men and women. In women, it helps in egg (ovum) growth and stimulates the release of the matured eggs from the ovaries into the uterus. This helps in managing ovulation problems in women with polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD) especially in those who are not responding appropriately with other medicines (Ex. clomiphene citrate).
It also helps in the growth and development of several egg follicles in women undergoing fertility managements. In men, it improves sperm count and corrects fertility problems.
Before receiving GYNOGEN HP 75IU INJECTION inform your doctor if you have thyroid problems, adrenal gland problems, high blood prolactin levels, fibroids in uterus, any tumours in the breasts, uterus, testes, prostate, pituitary gland or hypothalamus, heavy vaginal bleeding, or blood clots. Your doctor may also ask you to reduce body weight to achieve better results.
You must also inform your doctor if you have any damage in the fallopian tubes, as management with GYNOGEN HP 75IU INJECTION may cause ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside of the womb) in such cases.
GYNOGEN HP 75IU INJECTION is not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. The most common side effects of receiving GYNOGEN HP 75IU INJECTION are stomach pain or swelling, nausea, headache, and injection site reactions (such as pain, redness, and swelling). Consult your doctor if they worsen.

How GYNOGEN HP 75IU INJECTION Works
GYNOGEN HP 75IU INJECTION stimulates your body to release sufficient amount of sex hormones (Estrogen and Progesterone in females and Testosterone in males) to maintain normal reproductive functions. In women, it helps in the growth and maturation of the eggs followed by their release from the ovaries into the uterus (ovulation). This improves the chances of pregnancy among women facing difficulties in becoming pregnant. In men, it improves the levels of testosterone (male hormone) which in turn improves sperm count and reduces fertility problems.
