FAQs About GLUCONORM Z XR FORTE 60 TABLET
Q: What is GLUCONORM Z XR FORTE 60 TABLET used for?
A: GLUCONORM Z XR FORTE 60 TABLET is used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. This combination helps regulate blood sugar levels effectively in individuals whose blood sugar is not adequately controlled by diet, exercise, or a single diabetes medication. It helps reduce the risk of diabetes-related complications such as heart disease, nerve damage, or kidney issues.
Q: How GLUCONORM Z XR FORTE 60 TABLET works?
A: GLUCONORM Z XR FORTE 60 TABLET contains a combination of two medicines namely, Gliclazide and metformin. Gliclazide stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin, a hormone that lowers blood sugar levels. It also improves the body’s response to insulin. It also enhances the body’s ability to use insulin more effectively, making it a comprehensive treatment for blood sugar control.
Q: What is the best time to take GLUCONORM Z XR FORTE 60 TABLET?
A: It is usually recommended to take GLUCONORM Z XR FORTE 60 TABLET with meals to minimize the risk of gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea or upset stomach. Q: Can GLUCONORM Z XR FORTE 60 TABLET be used during pregnancy?
