Introduction About FRESUBIN VANILLA POWDER
Fresubin Vanilla Powder is a nutritionally balanced meal replacement used to improve and maintain gut function in ICU admitted patients, surgical patients, gastroenterology, cancer patients, neurology, elderly and adult patients. It contains Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and omega-3 fatty acids as active ingredients that help enhance gut health.
FOS are prebiotics that promote gut health since they are undigested until reaching the colon, where they are then metabolized by the gut microbiota. The fermentation of FOS by the gut microbiota encourages the growth of the good microbes.
Omega-3 fatty acids affect the gut microbiome by modifyring the type and abundance of gut microbes, altering the levels of proinflammatory mediators, and regulating the levels of short-chain fatty acids or short-chain fatty acid salts.
Use Fresubin Vanilla Powder as advised by your doctor. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. It should not be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women, children under 4 years of age, adolescents and elderly without a doctor’s advice.
