ENSOREX 100MG CAPSULE contains Amantadine which belongs to the group of medicines called Dopamine agonists or Anti-viral agents. It is used in the management of Parkinson’s disease (a progressive nervous disease that causes tremor, muscular rigidity and slow imprecise movements), and manages various strains of influenza A virus (caused by the multiplication of the virus inside the body).
It is also used to manage shingles (herpes zoster) to reduce pain, which is a reactivation of chickenpox virus causing a painful rash and drug-induced extrapyramidal reactions (such as involuntary muscle contraction, tremors, stiff muscles, and involuntary facial movements caused by antipsychotics and other drugs).
Before taking ENSOREX 100MG CAPSULE inform your doctor if you have any problems related to kidney, liver or heart (which may cause shortness of breath or ankle swelling), any mental illness like schizophrenia (mental disorder) or dementia (memory loss) and glaucoma (increased pressure in the eyes).
