Introduction About DEMELAN CREAM
Demelan Cream is a depigmentation cream used to manage skin pigmentation and skin discolouration or patches formed due to acne, sunburns or any other reason. It contains glycolic acid, kojic acid and arbutin as active ingredients that work together to keep the skin healthy and radiant.
Glycolic acid works by breaking the bonds between the outer layer of skin cells, including dead skin cells, and the next layer of skin, which creates a peeling effect, making the skin appear smooth and even.
Arbutin reduces the production of melanin (pigment responsible for skin colour) in melanocytes. Kojic acid inhibits and manages the formation of tyrosine (an amino acid needed to produce melanin), thus exerting a skin lightening effect.
Use Demelan Cream as directed by your doctor. Do not apply on broken or abraded skin or mucous membranes. Avoid excessive sun exposure, use sunscreen, and wear protective clothing while using it and a week after that. Ask your doctor before using Demelan Cream during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
