Introduction About DAKTARIN 2% GEL
Daktarin gel is a broad-spectrum antifungal medicine used to manage fungal skin infections that may appear on the hands, feet, outer ear, trunk or groin and include athlete’s foot, jock itch and intertrigo. It is also used in infected nappy rash. It contains miconazole as active ingredient.
Miconazole is an antifungal agent, which works by destroying the growth of fungus that causes infection. Additionally, it contains moisturising qualities to aid in calming inflamed, damaged skin.
Always apply Daktarin Gel as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Apply a thin layer of Daktarin Gel on the affected area of the skin twice daily. Wash your hands after applying to avoid spreading infection. Avoid contact with the eyes.
