Introduction About CONTIFLO T CAPSULE
CONTIFLO T CAPSULE is a combination of Tamsulosin and Tadalafil, which belongs to the group of medicines called Alpha blockers, and Phosphodiesterase-5-Inhibitors. It is indicated as substitution therapy in management of benign prostatic hyperplasia and erectile dysfunction in patients who are already taking Tamsulosin and Tadalafil concomitantly.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a common illness as men get older. An inflamed prostate gland can cause unpleasant urinary symptoms, like preventing the urine flow out of the bladder. It can also cause urinary tract, bladder, or kidney problems.
Erectile dysfunction means that you cannot get or maintain a proper erection. There are several causes, the most common being a narrowing of the arteries that take blood to the penis.
CONTIFLO T CAPSULE is not recommended for use if you have severe liver disease, cardiac disease where sexual activity is not recommended, a recent history of myocardial infarction within the last 90 days, a history of angina that occurred during unstable angina or sexual intercourse, or a history of stroke within the last 6 months. Consult your doctor for advice.
CONTIFLO T CAPSULE is not indicated for use in women and children. The most common side effects of taking CONTIFLO T CAPSULE are feeling dizzy or sweating – especially when you sit or stand up, problems ejaculating, headaches, muscle aches and pains, indigestion, flushing, nausea, a blocked nose, and problems with vision. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.

How CONTIFLO T CAPSULE Works
Tamsulosin helps to reduce the symptoms of an enlarged prostate gland by relaxing the muscle around the bladder and prostate gland so you can pee more easily.
Tadalafil works by preventing the action of a chemical in your body called phosphodiesterase type 5. This helps to relax (widen) blood vessels and improves the flow of blood to the penis following sexual stimulation. This helps to maintain an erection.
Tadalafil in benign prostatic enlargement works by improving the blood flow to the prostate and bladder and by relaxing the muscles in these areas. These actions help the urine to follow more easily.
