The individual amount of Vitamin D requirement can vary on an individual basis, and actual requirements will be based on your doctor’s recommendations. The minimum recommended Adequate Intake (AI) for Vitamin D is 200IU per day (0 – 18 years). The Upper Limit for Vitamin D is 1000IU per day for infants (0 – 12 months).
Can I take Com-D3 Drops with other multivitamins?
It is always better to consider what other nutrients you are receiving before adding additional supplements. Com-D3 Drops are uniquely suited to support daily vitamin D requirements only. Many multivitamins already contain vitamin D and dosages will differ, so it is always recommended for you to visit your doctor for advice.
Can Com-D3 Drops be used in elderly patients to manage vitamin D3 deficiency?
Studies have shown that the elderly may have an increased need for vitamin D due to a possible decrease in the ability of the skin to produce previtamin D3, or a decrease in sun exposure, or impaired kidney function, or impaired vitamin D absorption. Consult your doctor before taking Com-D3 Drops as your need for vitamin D3 may vary according to different conditions.
