Introduction About CIPLADINE 5% OINTMENT
Cipladine Ointment is an anti-septic ointment that is used as first aid to manage infection of cuts, scrapes, minor burns, abrasions, etc. It can also be used for pre and post-operative skin disinfection while performing wound dressings. It contains Povidone Iodine as an active ingredient which is a broad-spectrum antiseptic.
Povidone Iodine is a broad-spectrum antiseptic that penetrates the microbe and oxidizes proteins, nucleotides, and fatty acids which causes the death of the microbe. It is effective against a wide range of infection-causing microbes such as bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and viruses.
Use Cipladine Ointment exactly as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the ointment on the affected area. Consult with your doctor if you experience any allergic reactions while using Cipladine Ointment.
