    Introduction About CAPSITOP O ROLL ON GEL

    CAPSITOP O ROLL ON GEL is a combination of Diclofenac, Capsaicin, Menthol, Methyl salicylate which belongs to the group of medicines called Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory drugs, Capsaicinoids, Analgesics and Cooling agents respectively. It is used in the management of conditions like localized forms of soft-tissue rheumatism (Ex. tenovaginitis, bursitis (inflammation of fluid filled pad at the joints which acts like a cushion), shoulder-hand syndrome, and periarthropathy) and rheumatic diseases (Ex. osteoarthritis of the peripheral joints and vertebral column) and for inflammation after any trauma or injury like sprain, strain or bruises of the tendons, muscles, ligaments, joint.

    CAPSITOP O ROLL ON GEL is not recommended for use in patients before and after heart bypass surgery and in patients having asthma attacks, urticaria, acute arthritis. CAPSITOP O ROLL ON GEL should be used with caution in patients having liver and kidney diseases and diabetes. Consult your doctor for advice. CAPSITOP O ROLL ON GEL is not recommended for use during pregnancy unless clearly necessary and it should be used with caution in breastfeeding woman.

    CAPSITOP O ROLL ON GEL is not recommended for use in children and it should be used with caution in elderly patients. The most common side effects of using CAPSITOP O ROLL ON GEL are stinging or warmth feeling or burning sensation at the site of application of the medicine. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects does not improve or worsens.

    Uses Of CAPSITOP O ROLL ON GEL

    It is used to manage the following conditions such as:

    • localized forms of soft-tissue rheumatism (Ex. tenovaginitis, bursitis, shoulder-hand syndrome, and periarthropathy) and rheumatic diseases (Ex. osteoarthritis of the peripheral joints and vertebral column)
    • inflammation after any trauma or injury like sprain, strain or bruises of the tendons, muscles, ligaments and joint

    How CAPSITOP O ROLL ON GEL Works

    [GBKEYWORD] act as a painkiller where Capsaicin works by supressing certain substances which causes pain sensation and thereby manages the transmission of pain impulses to the brain. Diclofenac and Methyl salicylate works by reducing the effects of prostaglandin (substance produced during injury and inflammation causing pain) thereby blocking the pain signals between the brain and nerve endings. Menthol provides a cooling effect on the skin by causing blood vessels dilatation and it also increase the penetration the medicine into the skin.

    How to use CAPSITOP O ROLL ON GEL

    Apply CAPSITOP O ROLL ON GEL as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash your hands before and after use. Apply a thin layer of medicine and gently massage CAPSITOP O ROLL ON GEL on the affected area. Do not use occlusive dressing over that region.

    Side Effects Of CAPSITOP O ROLL ON GEL

    Common

    • stinging, warmth feeling or burning sensation at the site of application
    • itching, redness (erythema) and scaly appearance of the skin, oedema or swelling, papules (skin bumps), vesicles and bullae or large fluid filled blisters (signs and symptoms of allergic or non-allergic contact dermatitis)

    Rare

    • skin changes with scaling, redness, and large bubbles (bullous dermatitis)

    Stop using CAPSITOP O ROLL ON GEL and inform your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:

    • widespread skin rash
    • wheezing, swelling of face, shortness of breath

    Skin rash Or Itching

    Try to avoid hot showers because it may cause skin irritation. Avoid frequent contact and rubbing over the affected area. Use sunscreen and protective clothing when outdoors. If this symptom does not get better, consult your doctor for advice.
