Introduction About ACTIVE D TABLET
ActiveD Tablet is a dietary supplement used for the management of hypocalcaemia in patients with uremic osteodystrophy, hypoparathyroidism and in hypophosphataemic rickets as well as to manage osteoporosis. It contains Calcitriol as an active ingredient.
Calcitriol is a synthetic Vitamin D analogue that regulates absorption of calcium and phosphorus in gastrointestinal tract for building and maintaining strong bones.
Always take ActiveD Tablet exactly as advised by your doctor. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water and do not crush or chew the tablet. Do not take ActiveD Tablet if you have hypercalcemia or Vitamin D toxicity or hypersensitivity to calcitriol. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or having any other medical conditions and taking other vitamin supplements before taking it.
