    Introduction About 7 LA SUSPENSION

    7 LA SUSPENSION is a combination of Aluminium hydroxide, Magnesium hydroxide, Oxetacaine, and Simethicone, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antacids, Saline laxatives, Anesthetic antacids, and Gastrointestinal agents, respectively. It is used for symptomatic relief of gastric hyperacidity associated with gastritis, peptic ulcer, and esophageal reflux with heartburn.

    7 LA SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in patients having renal failure, partial intestinal obstruction, gastric outlet obstruction, constipation, or hypophosphatemia (low level of phosphate). Consult your doctor for advice. Before taking 7 LA SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you have porphyria, are undergoing hemodialysis, and are on a low-phosphorous diet.

    There are limited studies on the use of 7 LA SUSPENSION during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depending on your child’s age, body weight, and disease condition. Consult your doctor before taking 7 LA SUSPENSION.

    The most common side effects of taking 7 LA SUSPENSION are diarrhea, stomach pain, bloating, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and indigestion. Consult your doctor’s advice if any of these worsen or persist for a longer duration.

    7 LA SUSPENSION helps in the management of various gastrointestinal problems where Aluminium hydroxide neutralizes excess stomach acid and helps to protect the lining of the stomach from acid irritation. Magnesium hydroxide decreases stomach acid and increases the amount of water in the intestines that may induce movements of the bowel. Oxetacaine relieves pain, neutralizes stomach acid, and manages further irritation of the food pipe. Simethicone disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.

    How To Manage Side Effects

    Constipation

    Eat plenty of fiber-rich foods such as vegetables, fresh fruits, and cereals, and drink more water. Exercise more regularly. Consult your doctor if constipation persists.

    Diarrhea

    Drink lots of fluids, such as water, to keep yourself hydrated. Avoid eating high-fat or spicy foods. Try to avoid taking any medicine on your own to manage diarrhea and consult your doctor if the diarrhea gets worse.

    Headache

    Try to take a rest and don’t involve yourself in exertive activities. Apply a pain-relieving balm to your forehead. Consult your doctor if your headache does not improve.

    Nausea And Vomiting

    Take this medicine with or just after meals. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating rich or spicy food. Drink clear or ice-cold drinks; eat light, bland foods; and avoid fried, oily, or sweet foods. Consult your doctor if the nausea and vomiting persist.

    Stomach Pain

    Try to rest and relax. Eat and drink slowly or try to have fewer and more frequent meals. Keep a heating pad on your stomach. Consult with your doctor if the stomach pain does not improve.
