Description

This disposable 3-ply face mask is constructed with three layers of non-woven fabric to aid in breathing cleaner air. It is designed to act as a barrier against dust, pollutants, and airborne particles. The mask features a multi-layered design for filtration, breathability, and comfort during extended use. Typically, the outer layer is blue and fluid-resistant, while the inner layer is soft and absorbent. This product is intended for single use to promote hygiene.

Three-Layer Construction: Composed of an outer hydrophobic layer to repel fluids, a middle melt-blown filter layer, and a soft inner non-woven fabric layer for comfort. Adjustable Nose Pin: Features a built-in metallic strip that can be molded to the shape of the nose for a secure fit. Soft Ear Loops: Equipped with elastic ear loops designed for a comfortable fit during long periods of wear without causing significant ear strain. Breathable Material: Made from lightweight, non-woven polypropylene fabric that allows for easy breathing while wearing the mask. Disposable Design: Intended for single use only, which helps in maintaining hygiene and preventing cross-contamination.

Q: What is a 3-ply mask made of?

A: A 3-ply mask typically consists of three layers of non-woven polypropylene fabric. The outer layer is hydrophobic to repel fluids, the middle is a melt-blown layer that acts as a filter, and the inner layer is soft and absorbent.

Q: Is this mask reusable?

A: No, this type of mask is designed for single use only and should be discarded after use, or if it becomes wet or soiled. Reusing it is not recommended for hygiene and safety reasons.

Q: How should I dispose of a used mask?

A: To dispose of the mask, handle it only by the ear loops, place it in a sealed plastic bag, and then put it in a closed trash bin. It is advisable to perform hand hygiene after disposal.

Q: What does the filtration efficiency of this mask mean?

A: Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) indicates the mask's ability to filter bacteria. Many 3-ply surgical masks have a BFE of over 98%, meaning they can filter out more than 98% of bacteria at a specific particle size.

Q: How do I ensure the mask fits correctly?

A: Make sure the colored side faces outwards and the stiff, bendable edge is on top. Place the mask over your nose and mouth, secure the ear loops, and then mold the nose piece to the shape of your nose to minimize gaps.
