SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS contains Sodium Hyaluronate which belongs to the group of medicines called Ophthalmic Viscoelastic Agent. It is used in the treatment of mild to severe dry eyes, post-operated dry eyes and corneal burns.
Dry eye that occurs when tears aren't able to provide adequate moisture, it can affect one or both of the eyes. It occurs due to various reasons such as environmental conditions, due to aging, use of contact lenses and medications. Symptoms include dry, red and inflamed, discomfort and sensitivity to light.
Before using SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS inform your doctor if you have narrow angle glaucoma and if you wear contact lenses.
SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS may cause blurred vision for a short time after application even at normal dosages and with proper use. This can subsequently impair your reaction while driving or operating machines, hence caution should be exercised.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding women, consult your doctor for advice before using SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS.
The most common side effects of using SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS are blurred vision, swelling of eyelids, eye redness or discomfort and irritation. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.
Used for:
SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS makes lubricating contents of the eye more viscous and hence the eye is provided with an intensive, soothing and moisturising film. Persistent or more severe symptoms of dry eye are relieved and the eye is protected against further irritation.
Use SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS as advised by your physician. It is for ophthalmic use only. Wash your hands before and after using this medicine. For applying the medicine, tilt your head back and look up. Gently pull down the lower lid to form a sac and look up at the bottle and squeeze the bottle to place drops into the sac of your lower lid and then blink to spread the eye drop across the surface of the eye. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS for you depending upon your age and severity of the condition.
Stop using SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS and consult your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Blurred vision:
Try to take rest for some time after using the medicine. Close your eyes for few minutes and do not rub them. Consult your doctor if the symptom does not improve.
SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS can be used during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before using SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS.
SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS can be used during breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before using SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS.
Do not drive or operate any machines if you experience blurred vision after using SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS.
Consult your doctor for advice before using SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS if you have renal failure.
Consult your doctor for advice before using SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS if you suffer from liver impairment.
SOHA LIQUIGEL EYE DROPS is not recommended for use if you are allergic to sodium hyaluronate or any other ingredients of this medicine.
