SN 15 PLUS TABLET is a combination of Diclofenac and Serratiopeptidase which belongs to a group of medicines called Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and Proteolytic enzymes. SN 15 PLUS TABLET is used in the treatment of pain and inflammatory conditions in adult patients.
SN 15 PLUS TABLET is not recommended for use in patients allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, ibuprofen, other NSAIDs, and/or serratiopeptidase. SN 15 PLUS TABLET is also not recommended for use in patients with active gastric or intestinal ulcer/bleeding/perforation, active/previous history of recurrent peptic ulcer/hemorrhage, peripheral arterial disease (blood circulation disorder), severe liver/kidney impairment, and/or heart diseases (such as congestive heart failure, severe heart failure, ischemic heart disease). SN 15 PLUS TABLET is also not indicated for use to treat pain in patients who had undergone coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.
Before taking SN 15 PLUS TABLET inform your doctor if you had previously suffered from gastrointestinal ulceration, and/or have ulcerative colitis (inflammation of colon), mixed connective tissue disorders (such as systemic lupus erythematosus), diabetes, high blood pressure, lung problems (such as bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases), kidney problems (such as mild to moderate renal impairment), and/or liver problems (such as mild to moderate liver impairment).
SN 15 PLUS TABLET is generally not recommended for use during third trimester of pregnancy which is also not recommended for use in women planning for pregnancy. SN 15 PLUS TABLET should be used with caution during first and second trimester of pregnancy only if it is clearly necessary. SN 15 PLUS TABLET is also not recommended for use in breastfeeding women since it may pass through breastmilk. Consult your doctor before taking the medicine.
SN 15 PLUS TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged below 18 years) at higher doses which should be used with caution in children and adolescents (aged above 14 years) at lower doses after consulting the doctor. SN 15 PLUS TABLET should also be used with caution in elderly patients (aged above 65 years) after consulting the doctor.
The most common side effects of taking SN 15 PLUS TABLET are headache, dizziness, abdominal pain, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsen.
SN 15 PLUS TABLET provides relief from pain and inflammation in affected individuals where diclofenac works by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers (responsible for pain and inflammation) in the brain and serratiopeptidase reduces inflammatory reaction by breaking down abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation thus providing relief from inflammation and pain in affected individuals.
Capsule, Tablet:
Take SN 15 PLUS TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose, duration and frequency for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.
Orally Disintegrating Tablet:
Take SN 15 PLUS TABLET as advised by your physician. Place SN 15 PLUS TABLET inside your mouth and allow it to dissolve completely. Do not swallow or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose, duration and frequency for you depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.
Stop taking SN 15 PLUS TABLET and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Headache:
If SN 15 PLUS TABLET causes headache, then take rest and drink plenty of fluids. Try to avoid drinking alcohol. Ask your doctor to recommend a painkiller. Headaches should usually go away after the first week of taking SN 15 PLUS TABLET. If it lasts more than a week or severe, inform your doctor.
Diarrhea:
If SN 15 PLUS TABLET causes diarrhea, then drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Try to avoid taking any medicine on your own to treat diarrhea. Consult your doctor and inform them if the symptom gets worse.
Dizziness:
If SN 15 PLUS TABLET causes dizziness, then try to take rest and get enough sleep. Try to avoid driving or operating any tools or machines while you feel dizzy. Limit consumption of alcohol, as it can aggravate dizziness. Consult and inform your doctor if the symptom worsens.
Nausea and vomiting:
If SN 15 PLUS TABLET causes nausea and vomiting, then try to take SN 15 PLUS TABLET with or just after a meal or a snack. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating rich or spicy food. Consult your doctor if symptom gets worse.
Indigestion:
If SN 15 PLUS TABLET causes indigestion, then try to have smaller and more frequent meals and drink slowly. Reduce consumption of coffee, cola, tea, or alcohol and lose weight if you are obese. Try to avoid smoking and don’t have rich, fatty or spicy foods. Consult your doctor and inform if the symptom does not improve.

Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking SN 15 PLUS TABLET as it increases the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.
SN 15 PLUS TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe renal impairment. It should be used with caution in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment. Consult your doctor before taking SN 15 PLUS TABLET.
SN 15 PLUS TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe hepatic impairment and liver failure. It should be used with caution in patients with mild to moderate hepatic impairment and hepatic porphyria. Consult your doctor before taking SN 15 PLUS TABLET.
Do not take SN 15 PLUS TABLET if you are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, ibuprofen, other NSAIDs, serratiopeptidase, and/or any other ingredients of this medicine.
SN 15 PLUS TABLET should be used with caution in patients with lung problems such as bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases, and/or chronic infections of the respiratory tract. Consult your doctor before taking SN 15 PLUS TABLET.
SN 15 PLUS TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with established congestive heart failure, severe heart failure, and/or ischemic heart disease, It is also not recommended for use in patients who had undergone coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.
