PREMARIN 0.3MG contain conjugated estrogen which belongs to a group of medicine called Estrogen derivative. It is used for relief of symptoms occurring after menopause and prevent osteoporosis. Following menopause, the body produces less of estrogen hormone, resulting in the loss of bone density. It prevent bone loss. Osteoporosis is a condition in which bone become weak and brittle. The body constantly absorbs and replaces bone tissue. With osteoporosis, the rate of new bone creation does not keep up with old bone removal.
PREMARIN 0.3MG works by preventing symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats and mood swings in women who are undergoing or have attained menopause. It also prevents the bones from becoming porous and fragile (osteoporosis) by increasing the bone density. The most common side effects are bloating, breast pain, headache, changes in hair growth (loss or increase), vaginal inflammation, nausea, vomiting abdominal pain.
Always take PREMARIN 0.3MG exactly as your doctor has told you. It must be taken with or without food. It should be swallowed whole with water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney disease, heart disease, liver problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.

Nausea and vomiting:
Try taking this medicine with, or just after, a meal or snack and stick to simple meals and do not eat rich or spicy food.
Abdominal pain:
Keep try to rest and relax. Eat and drink slowly and smaller and frequent meals. Applying a heat pad or covered hot water bottle on your stomach may also help. If still pain persists, speak to your doctor.
Headache:
Apply hot or cold-water bag on your head. Take rest in a quiet and dark room. Drink tea or coffee.
Dizziness:
Get up and move around to feel awake, take small naps to edge off the sleepiness. Give your eyes a break to avoid fatigue and eat a healthy food to boost energy.
Bloating or wind:
Eat smaller and frequent meals. Eat and drink slowly, and exercise regularly. If the symptoms get worse, contact your doctor immediately.
PREMARIN 0.3MG is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless necessary. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.

There is no evidence to suggest that taking PREMARIN 0.3MG will affect your ability to drive or to operate machinery.
Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during treatment with PREMARIN 0.3MG.
PREMARIN 0.3MG should be used with caution in patients suffering from active kidney diseases. Consult your doctor for advice.
PREMARIN 0.3MG is not recommended in patients with active liver diseases. Consult your doctor for advice.
Do not take PREMARIN 0.3MG if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to conjugated estrogen or any other ingredients in this medicine.
PREMARIN 0.3MG is not recommended in patients with active lung diseases (pulmonary embolism). Before taking this medicine consult your doctor.
