ONABET CREAM contains Sertaconazole, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungal agents. It is used to treat athlete’s foot (tinea pedis). An athlete’s foot is a condition with a fungal infection of the skin involving the feet and in-between the toes. The symptoms of fungal infection of the skin include redness, itching, irritation, swelling, blisters and scaly appearance of the skin, etc.
Your doctor may also advise you to follow personal hygiene habits such as not sharing used clothes and washing your hands before and after treating the infected area to prevent the spread of infection to other areas in the body or another person.
Do not use ONABET CREAM if you have had an allergic reaction to sertaconazole. ONABET CREAM should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women. ONABET CREAM is not recommended for use in children less than 12 years of age.
The most common side effects of ONABET CREAM include contact dermatitis, skin dryness, tenderness and burning sensation etc. Consult your doctor immediately or visit a nearby hospital if any of the symptoms worsen.
ONABET CREAM works by preventing fungi from developing their necessary protective coating, which is necessary for their survival. As a result, it treats the fungal infection of the skin.
Always use ONABET CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Dry the infected part of the skin before using ONABET CREAM. Wash your hands before and after using this medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose, duration and frequency for you depending on the existing conditions etc.
Stop using ONABET CREAM and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
Skin rash or contact dermatitis:
Hot showers should be avoided as they can irritate your skin even more. Avoid scratching the infected area. When going outside, wear protective clothing. If the symptoms worsen, consult your doctor immediately.
ONABET CREAM should be used with caution in pregnant women if recommended by your doctor. Inform your doctor immediately if you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant while using ONABET CREAM.
ONABET CREAM should be used with caution by breastfeeding mothers only if recommended by your doctor. Consult your doctor before using ONABET CREAM.
Do not use ONABET CREAM if you are allergic to Sertaconazole.
Use in pediatrics:
ONABET CREAM is recommended for use in children at and above 12 years of age only. Consult your doctor for advice.
Use in geriatrics:
ONABET CREAM should be taken with caution in the elderly above 65 years of age, only if recommended by your doctor. Your doctor will decide the dose, duration of the treatment and its frequency for you depending on the severity of your existing condition and other comorbid diseases.
A. Drug-Drug interactions:
Before using ONABET CREAM, inform your doctor if you are taking any medicines and herbs.
If you or anyone else accidentally took more of ONABET CREAM, contact your doctor immediately or visit a nearby hospital immediately if the symptoms worsen.
