Introduction About NUPATCH 200MG PATCH
NUPATCH 200MG PATCH contains Diclofenac which belongs to the group of medicines called Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). It is used for pain management in osteoarthritis (flexible tissue at the ends of bones wears down), sprain, strain, tennis elbow, joint pain and post-operative pain like dental procedures.
NUPATCH 200MG PATCH is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Diclofenac, aspirin or other NSAIDs. Before using NUPATCH 200MG PATCH inform your doctor if you have any stomach or bowel ulcer, asthma, liver, kidney or heart problems.
NUPATCH 200MG PATCH is not recommended for use in pregnancy (especially in last 3 months) and should be used in breastfeeding women only under medical advice. NUPATCH 200MG PATCH is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (below 16 years of age).
Be cautious when sunbathing or using sun lamps as your skin may be more sensitive to sunlight. The most common side effects of using NUPATCH 200MG PATCH are skin rash, itching, reddening of the skin, etc. Call your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.

It is used for pain management in:
- osteoarthritis
- sprain, strain, tennis elbow, joint pain
- post-operative pain like dental procedures
How NUPATCH 200MG PATCH Works
NUPATCH 200MG PATCH relieves pain and inflammation by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins (chemicals responsible for inducing pain and inflammation).
How to use NUPATCH 200MG PATCH
Use NUPATCH 200MG PATCH as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Cut the top of the sachet along the indicated line and remove the seal. Apply the patch on the affected area. Secure the patch with additional adhesive strip if needed. Avoid covering the patch with other dressings.
Ensure that the patch is applied to the intact, undamaged skin. Avoid applying it to injured skin or open wounds. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

Skin rash:
Avoid hot showers as it can further irritate your skin. Do not scratch the affected area. Use protective clothing when going outdoors. Regularly moisturize your skin. If symptom persists, contact your doctor.

Breastfeeding
NUPATCH 200MG PATCH should only be used under medical advice during breast-feeding as it passes into breast milk in small amounts. However, prolonged application on the breasts of nursing mothers or elsewhere on large areas of skin should be avoided. Consult your doctor for advice.

Driving and Using Machines
NUPATCH 200MG PATCH generally does not affect your ability to drive or use machines.

Kidney

Allergy

Heart Disease

Others
NUPATCH 200MG PATCH is not recommended for use if you:
- have an active stomach ulcer (peptic ulcer)
- have damaged skin like discharge, infections, eczema, burns or wounds
Before using NUPATCH 200MG PATCH, inform your doctor if you:
- have or had stomach ulcers
- have inflammatory bowel conditions including ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease
- have bleeding tendency from your bowel
- have breathing trouble, skin rash or a runny nose after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs
- regularly sunbathe or use a sunbed
Use in Paediatrics:
NUPATCH 200MG PATCH is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (below 16 years of age). Consult your child’s doctor for advice.
Use in Geriatrics:
NUPATCH 200MG PATCH should be used with caution in elderly patients (above 65 years of age). Consult your doctor for advice.
