MOXIMAC 400MG TABLET is used to treat acute bacterial sinusitis, acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, community acquired pneumonia, skin and soft tissue infections, uncomplicated urinary tract infection and pelvic inflammatory disease.
How does MOXIMAC 400MG TABLET works?
MOXIMAC 400MG TABLET works by inhibiting the bacterial enzymes DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV which are required for DNA replication and transcription resulting in cell death. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing and destroys them.
Can MOXIMAC 400MG TABLET be used in pregnant and breast-feeding woman?
MOXIMAC 400MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant women or if you think you might become pregnant and in breast feeding woman. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
Can MOXIMAC 400MG TABLET be given to children?
MOXIMAC 400MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents aged below 18 years as the efficacy and safety have not been established for this age group. Consult your doctor for advice.
