What is MORR 7.5% SOLUTION used for?
MORR 7.5% SOLUTION contains Minoxidil which belongs to the group of medicines called vasodilators. It is used to treat hereditary hair loss (androgenic alopecia) on the head in men and women. Androgenic Alopecia affects the hair present in the crown and the front portion of the scalp. It is caused mainly due to hormonal imbalance and it is characterized by baldness and thinning of the hair. MORR 7.5% SOLUTION is used to treat only mild to moderate hair loss problems and not complete hair loss and helps to stimulate hair growth in such cases.
How to use MORR 7.5% SOLUTION?
Always use MORR 7.5% SOLUTION as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. This medicine is for use on the normal healthy scalp only. Apply MORR 7.5% SOLUTION directly on dry scalp and hair. Do not use it on inflamed, infected, irritated or painful scalp skin. Do not apply to any other part of the body. Avoid contact with your eyes. Your doctor will decide the required dose and duration of MORR 7.5% SOLUTION for you as per your age and disease condition.
Can MORR 7.5% SOLUTION cause loss of hair after use?
In the first couple of months, MORR 7.5% SOLUTION may cause increased hair shedding after use in some individuals. There is a temporary increase in the shedding of hair that generally occurs between 2 and 6 weeks after the start of treatment and then decreases. If increased shedding continues after 6 weeks of MORR 7.5% SOLUTION use, consult your doctor.
How long should I use MORR 7.5% SOLUTION?
Since hair grows slowly, MORR 7.5% SOLUTION takes time to work. Results may be seen in 2-4 months with daily use. If there’s no hair regrowth after 4 months, then consult your doctor. The amount of hair regrowth is different for each person and may not work for all. Continued use of MORR 7.5% SOLUTION is necessary to increase and maintain hair re-growth or hair loss will begin again.
What are the common side effects of using MORR 7.5% SOLUTION?
The most common side effects of applying MORR 7.5% SOLUTION are headache, itching of the scalp, rash, burning sensation and excessive hair growth. Consult your doctor in case any of the side effects worsen or persist for long.
When should I avoid using MORR 7.5% SOLUTION?
MORR 7.5% SOLUTION is not to be used in cases of the pattern of your hair loss differs from a receding hairline and crown balding, have no family history of hair loss, have total baldness or complete loss of all body hair, have inflamed, infected, irritated or painful scalp, have any condition that affects your scalp such as sunburn and psoriasis and are currently using other medications that are being applied on the scalp. Consult your doctor for a proper physical examination of the scalp before using MORR 7.5% SOLUTION.
What if I accidentally ingest MORR 7.5% SOLUTION?
Accidental ingestion of MORR 7.5% SOLUTION may cause serious cardiac adverse events related to low blood pressure such as chest pain, rapid heartbeat, fainting, dizziness, sudden unexplained weight gain or swollen hands and feet. Consult your immediately if any such symptom arises. Keep MORR 7.5% SOLUTION out of the reach of children to avoid such accidents.
