MAXX BROKUF T SYRUP is a combination of Bromhexine, Guaiphenesin, Terbutaline, and Menthol which belongs to the group of medicines called Mucolytics, Expectorants, Bronchodilators, and Soothing agents respectively. It is used to treat cough associated with bronchitis, asthma, emphysema, smoker’s cough, whooping cough, smokers dry cough and post-surgical cough. A cough is a reflex action to clear your airways of mucus and irritants like dust or smoke.

MAXX BROKUF T SYRUP is not recommended for use in children (younger than 6 years of age) so consult your doctor before taking it. Before taking MAXX BROKUF T SYRUP, inform your doctor if you have any allergies or other conditions, or if you are taking any other medicines.

MAXX BROKUF T SYRUP should be used in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if considered necessary by your doctor. MAXX BROKUF T SYRUP relieves cough where Bromhexine reduces the viscosity of thick mucus secretions, helping in ejecting out the phlegm. Guaiphenesin thins and loosens the mucus in the lungs, making it easier to cough it up where Terbutaline relieves the congestion of the airways, and menthol gives a cooling sensation.

HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS

Diarrhea

Dizziness Or Drowsiness

Lie down until dizziness is resolved, then get up slowly. Do not hurry and move slowly and carefully. Get adequate rest. Drink plenty of water and other fluids. Avoid coffee, cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs. If dizziness does not improve, consult your doctor.

Nausea And Vomiting

Take regular sips of a cold drink. Have ginger or peppermint tea. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating oily or spicy foods. If nausea does not improve, contact your doctor. Get adequate rest. Drink lots of fluids, especially water. Have small sips if you feel sick. Do not take any medicine for vomiting without your doctor's consultation. If vomiting does not improve, contact your doctor.

Headache
