  • M SPRAY is used as maintenance treatment for the prevention and control of asthma symptoms

Before you use M SPRAY, tell your doctor if you;

  • have liver problems
  • have osteoporosis(problem bones)
  • have an immune system problem
  • have eye problems such as increased pressure in the eye, glaucoma, or cataracts
  • are allergic to any medicines
  • are exposed to chickenpox or measles
  • have or had tuberculosis (TB)
  • have any other medical problems
  • It is not known if M SPRAY may harm your unborn baby or pass into your breast milk and if it can harm your baby
  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine



Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. especially,

  • ritonavir, nelfinavir, indinavir, atazanavir, saquinavir - anti HIV medicines
  • telithromycin, clarithromycin - antibiotics
  • ketoconazole, itraconazole - anti fungal medicines
  • nefazodone - anti depressant
  • Use M SPRAY exactly as prescribed
  • You must use M SPRAY regularly. It may take 1 week or longer after you start using M SPRAY for your asthma symptoms to get better. Do not stop using M SPRAY even if you are feeling better, unless your doctor tells you to
  • M SPRAY come in 2 strengths. Your doctor has prescribed the strength that is best for you
  • Take M SPRAY every day, with 2 puffs in the morning and 2 puffs in the evening
  • Rinse your mouth with water after each dose (2 puffs) of M SPRAY. This will help to lessen the chance of getting a yeast infection (thrush) in your mouth and throat
  • Do not spray M SPRAY in your eyes. If you accidentally get M SPRAY in your eyes, rinse your eyes with water and if redness or irritation continues, call your doctor

Call your doctor or get medical care right away if:

  • your breathing problems worsen with M SPRAY
  • you need to use your rescue inhaler more often than usual
  • your rescue inhaler does not work as well for you at relieving symptoms
  • you need to use 4 or more inhalations of your rescue inhaler for 2 or more days in a row or you use 1 whole canister of your rescue inhaler within 8 weeks
  • your peak flow meter results decrease. Your doctor will tell you the numbers that are right for you
  • you have asthma and your symptoms do not improve after using M SPRAY regularly for 1 to 2 weeks

If you take more M SPRAY

  • If you take more M SPRAY than your doctor has prescribed, call your doctor right away

If you forget to take M SPRAY

  • If you miss a dose of M SPRAY, skip your missed dose and take your next dose at your regular time. Do not take M SPRAY more often or use more puffs than you have been prescribed

If you stop taking M SPRAY

  • Do not change or stop using M SPRAY or other asthma medicines used to control or treat your breathing problems unless told to do so by your doctor. Your doctor will change your medicines as needed
Very Rare

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects although not everybody gets them.

  • thrush in your mouth and throat
  • immune system effects and a higher chance for infections
  • adrenal insufficiency that can lead to death can happen when you stop taking oral corticosteroid medicines and start using inhaled corticosteroid medicines
  • when your body is under stress such as from fever, trauma (such as a car accident), infection, or surgery, adrenal insufficiency can get worse
  • dizziness or feeling faint
  • serious allergic reactions, rash,hives
  • swelling, including swelling of the face, mouth, and tongue
  • breathing problems
  • lower bone mineral density
  • slowed growth in children
  • eye problems including glaucoma and cataracts
  • inflammation of the nose and throat (nasopharyngitis)
  • headache
  • flu infection (influenza)
  • inflammation of the sinuses (sinusitis)
  • bronchitis

  • The contents of your M SPRAY are under pressure. Do not puncture
  • Do not use or store near heat or open flame
  • Do not throw container into fire or incinerator
