USES OF JUFATE O SYRUP

HOW JUFATE O SYRUP WORKS

JUFATE O SYRUP contains two medicines namely sucralfate and oxetacaine. Sucralfate is an ulcer protective agent. It forms a protective layer over the ulcer lesions, giving it a sustained protection against the penetration of stomach acid and other irritants or enzymes (such as alcohol, pepsin and bile). This lessens the chances of further tissue damage which ultimately prevents the exacerbation of ulcers lesions.

Oxetacaine is a local anesthetic agent. Following oral administration, it reduces pain sensation from the inflamed gut tissues (or ulcer tissues). Collectively, this medicine reduce the unpleasant symptoms of the digestive tract such as acidity, heartburn and stomach ulcers.
