Introduction About HAPPI IT CAPSULE
HAPPI IT CAPSULE is a combination of Itopride and Rabeprazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Gastroprokinetic agent and Proton-pump inhibitors respectively. It is used to manage Gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and Peptic ulcer disease.
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a digestive disorder that occurs when acidic stomach juices or food and fluids back up from the stomach into the oesophagus.
Peptic ulcers are open sores that develop on the inside lining of stomach and the upper portion of small intestine. Rarely, peptic ulcer may develop just above your stomach in your oesophagus. The most common symptom of a peptic ulcer is stomach pain.
Before taking this medicine inform your doctor if you have heart disease, liver disease or kidney disease. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors before taking this medicine.

How HAPPI IT CAPSULE Works
HAPPI IT CAPSULE is a combination of Itopride and Rabeprazole. Itopride works by on the region in the brain that controls vomiting and also acts on the upper digestive tract and helps food move more easily through the stomach. Rabeprazole works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps to relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
How to use HAPPI IT CAPSULE
Take HAPPI IT CAPSULE as directed by your physician. Swallow the medicine as a whole and do not crush or chew the medicine. Take it preferably 30 minutes before food. Your doctor will decide the correct dose for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

How To Manage Side Effects
Stomach pain:
Rest and relax. Eat and drink slowly or try to have smaller and frequent meals. Keep a heat pad on your stomach. Do not self-manage on your own and consult your doctor if the symptom did not improve on its own.
Diarrhoea:
Drink lots of fluids, such as water or fruit juices to keep yourself hydrated. Avoid taking any medicine on your own for managing diarrheoa. Consult your doctor if the symptom did not improve.
Constipation:
Eat fiber rich foods such as fresh fruits, vegetables and cereals and drink plenty of water. Try to exercise more regularly. Consult your doctor if the symptom did not improve on its own.
Headache:
Rest and relax. Drink plenty of fluids such as water or electrolytes. Apply a pain-relieving balm on the head if required. Do not consume too much of alcohol. Consult your doctor if the symptom did not improve.
Dizziness:
Try to rest and relax. Get enough sleep. Avoid driving or operating any tools or machines while you are feeling dizzy. Do not consume too much of alcohol, as it can aggravate your dizziness. Consult your doctor if the symptom did not improve.
Flatulence:
Eat smaller and frequent meals. Eat and drink slowly, and exercise regularly. Consult your doctor if the symptom did not improve.

Breastfeeding

Driving and Using Machines
Do not drive or handle any machines if you experience dizziness, sleepiness, tiredness, decrease alertness. Consult your doctor for advice.

Alcohol
Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during management with HAPPI IT CAPSULE. Consult your doctor before taking the medicine.

Kidney
HAPPI IT CAPSULE should be used with caution in patients suffering from kidney disease. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Liver
HAPPI IT CAPSULE should be used with caution in patients suffering from liver impairment or severe liver disease. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Allergy
Do not take HAPPI IT CAPSULE if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Itopride and Rabeprazole or any ingredients of this medicine.
