It is characterized by symptoms such as scaly rashes, itching, stinging and burning between toes. Tinea corporis (ring worm) is a fungal infection causing circular itchy rashes with clearer skin in the middle, resembling a ring.

Tinea cruris (fungal sweat rash) or jock itch is a fungal infection characterized by red and itchy rashes in the moist areas of the body such as groin. Tinea versicolor is a fungal infection that is characterized by abnormal skin pigmentation such as light and dark patches at the affected area.
