INTRODUCTION

ETOCEL P TABLET is a combination of Etoricoxib and Paracetamol which belongs to the group of medicines called Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) and Analgesics respectively. It is used to treat pain and inflammation in conditions like ankylosing spondylitis (inflammation of the spine), osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Osteoarthritis is defined as a progressive disorder affecting primarily weight-bearing joints, characterized by progressive worsening and loss of cartilage that join bones, pain, motion restriction, deformity and disability. Rheumatoid arthritis is a long-term, progressive inflammatory disorder of unknown cause characterized by involvement of five or more joints and systemic symptoms like tiredness, weakness, fever, loss of appetite and joint pain.

During course of the treatment your doctor might regularly monitor your liver and kidney function test to avoid any untoward side effects.

Before taking ETOCEL P TABLET, inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver or heart problems, stomach ulcer or bleeding, high blood pressure, stroke, diabetes, peripheral arterial disease and inflammatory bowel disease such as ulcerative colitis or colitis.
