DELISPRIN 75MG contains Aspirin which is an Antiplatelet agent. It prevents the formation of blood clots in the body and reduce the risk of its associated conditions (like heart attack or stroke) in patients. Blood clots (also known as thrombosis) are formed in the body due to excessive clumping of tiny blood cells called platelets at a particular region in a blood vessel (artery or vein). These blood clots can happen in any blood vessels supplying major organ (like heart and brain) and usually stops or reduces the flow of blood and oxygen to the organs, leading to various thrombotic problems like heart attack, angina, or stroke. DELISPRIN 75MG can also be used to prevent the risk of heart attack and stroke among patients who have recently undergone a by-pass surgery.
Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory medicine with antiplatelet effects. It reduces the formation of blood clot by preventing platelets (tiny blood cells that are involved in blood clot formation) from clumping together in the blood vessels. Although aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine, it is not suitable for reducing fever in the body.
While taking DELISPRIN 75MG, it is important to keep yourself hydrated as, it may make you get dehydrated (excessive thirsty with dryness of mouth) very easily. Make sure that you drink plenty of fluids while taking DELISPRIN 75MG. Before taking DELISPRIN 75MG, inform your doctor if you have asthma or any liver, kidney, or heart diseases. DELISPRIN 75MG is generally not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women and in children (below 16 years) unless advised by your doctor. The most common side effects of DELISPRIN 75MG are indigestion and bruising. Consult your doctor if any of the side effect worsens.
DELISPRIN 75MG is an anti-inflammatory medicine with antiplatelet effects. Avoid hot showers because hot water can irritate your skin further. Do not scratch the affected area. Use protective clothing when going outdoors. Regularly moisturize your skin. Consult your doctor if the symptom does not improve.
DELISPRIN 75MG is not recommended for use in pregnant women especially during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless specifically directed by the doctor.
DELISPRIN 75MG is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless necessary. Consult your doctor for advice.
Do not drive or operate any tools or machines if your ability is affected by DELISPRIN 75MG.
Avoid alcohol consumption while taking DELISPRIN 75MG, as it could enhance the risk of side effects.
DELISPRIN 75MG is not recommended in patients with severe kidney diseases. Consult your doctor for advice.
DELISPRIN 75MG is not recommended in patients with severe liver diseases. Consult your doctor for advice.
Do not take DELISPRIN 75MG if you are allergic to Aspirin, or other salicylates or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (Ex. paracetamol, ibuprofen, diclofenac).
DELISPRIN 75MG is not recommended for use in patients who had an asthma attack. It should be used with caution among patients with respiratory diseases such as asthma, hay fever (allergic reaction causing nasal decongestion) or nasal polyps (tissue growth inside nose). If you accidentally take excess of DELISPRIN 75MG, consult your doctor immediately. Symptoms of overdose are stomach pain, headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, ringing in ears, confusion, rapid breathing, fever, excess sweating, restlessness, seizures, or hallucinations.

Can DELISPRIN 75MG be used to treat fever?
Although DELISPRIN 75MG, is a NSAID medicine, it is generally used either alone or in combination with other blood thinning medicines to prevent formation of blood clots in the body. It is not suitable for reducing fever in patients as this dose may not be working adequately in reducing body temperature. Consult your doctor and you would be prescribed with a different medicine.
Can DELISPRIN 75MG make you to bleed more easily?
Yes. Since DELISPRIN 75MG works by altering the normal clotting time of blood, patients may experience an increased tendency to bleed even after minor cuts or injuries. Therefore DELISPRIN 75MG must be used with caution only under necessary condition. Before taking DELISPRIN 75MG, it is better to inform your doctor that if you are scheduled for any surgical procedures (including minor procedures) as a precaution. Pregnant women should not take DELISPRIN 75MG especially during the last 3 months, as it could increase the tendency to bleed during childbirth.
Is it necessary to take DELISPRIN 75MG following by-pass surgery?
DELISPRIN 75MG is used as a preventive measure against the development of heart attack and stroke among patients who have undergone by-pass surgery and therefore it is necessary to continue to take DELISPRIN 75MG as instructed by your doctor.
Can DELISPRIN 75MG and paracetamol be taken together?
No. Avoid using many NSAIDS medicine together while taking DELISPRIN 75MG, as it may cause unwanted side effects. Kindly consult your doctor before taking other anti-inflammatory medicines like paracetamol, ibuprofen etc.
Can DELISPRIN 75MG cause low platelet count?
There is no proper information about the use of DELISPRIN 75MG in causing low platelet count. However, it can cause altered blood count which may be caused due to excessive internal bleeding during prolonged treatment. Consult your doctor if you experience any signs of low platelet count like fever or flu-like symptoms.
Can DELISPRIN 75MG be taken daily?
