CROTORAX Cream topical cream is a scabicide used to relieve itching and skin irritation caused by scabies. CROTORAX Cream kills the mites that cause scabies, and thus soothes the itchy skin.
Also, CROTORAX Cream is an anti-pruritic (anti-itch) drug used to treat itching associated with certain skin conditions including eczema, chickenpox, sunburn, nettle rash, itchy dermatitis and insect bites or stings. CROTORAX Cream may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

How to take CROTORAX Cream?
The dosage of CROTORAX Cream prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
For scabies:Apply a thin layer of the CROTORAX Cream cream into the skin of the whole body from neck to toes, including skin folds, between the fingers and under the nails.
For itching:Apply the CROTORAX Cream cream onto the affected area until the medication is completely absorbed.
Do not apply the CROTORAX Cream cream around the eyes and on broken skin or wounds.
If your physician has instructed or directed you to use CROTORAX Cream medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, use it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses to catch up for the missed dose.
Any medication used in excess can have serious consequences. If you suspect an overdose of CROTORAX Cream, seek medical attention immediately. Overdose symptoms of CROTORAX Cream may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, burning feeling in the mouth and irritation of the mouth/throat.

There are no known interactions between CROTORAX Cream cream and other medicines. However, it is important to inform your doctor about the use of any other medications including non-prescription medications (over-the-counter medicines that may increase the effect of CROTORAX Cream) and dietary supplements like vitamins, minerals and herbal, so that the doctor can warn you of any possible drug interactions.
