What is Bupropion used for?

Bupropion is an antidepressant medication used to treat major depressive disorder. It is also used to treat seasonal affective disorder. Besides, this medicine is used as a smoking cessation aid to help people stop smoking.

How to take Bupropion?

The dosage of Bupropion prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

Bupropion can be taken with or without food. Do not crush, chew, or break this medicine. Swallow the pill whole.

If your physician has instructed or directed you to use Bupropion medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember.
